Since 2011, EMSEA has been working to bring Ocean Literacy to Europe. In our tenth year, join our interactive conference to discover the latest updates on ocean literacy research programmes, novel examples of integrating the Ocean into formal and informal education programmes and be part of a network that will ensure that ocean literacy continues to be an integral part of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
This year’s two day conference will be a mixture of presentations, poster sessions, interactive talks and workshops on digital ocean literacy, engagement skills, seaweed and climate change! Keynote speakers will be Emma McKinley, Francesca Santoro and Maria Damanakis.
