Spring has sprung and the project has started off 2017 with a chain of bi-lateral meetings between the project partners with discussions and agreements of cross-border collaboration across many of the work packages.
The 27-29th March were three hectic days as the first study visit to the K2 Fish Farm, the first professional meeting and the 2nd partner meeting took place. The project partners, SMEs and stakeholders were shown the warm hospitality of the University of Gdansk in Gdynia.
At the 2nd partner meeting, all partners were able to discuss the progress of the project, the tasks at hand and those to come. Particularly the collaborations between project partners and how their competences will contribute to each other’s pilots became clear during the meeting. At the professional training, project partners and invited key speakers were given the floor to present their pilots and the latest innovative technology within aquaculture.
Following the professional training, the 4th Fish Congress at Sopot on the 30th and 31st March was the ideal opportunity to present InnoAquaTech to more than 300 delegates.
There will be plenty of opportunities to present the project and for B2B matchmaking this autumn:
- 27th – 28th September: The Submariner conference “Better off Blue” in Berlin
- 12th – 14th October: The 4th Nordic RAS workshop in Aalborg, Denmark
- 16th – 20th October: Aquaculture Europe 2017 in Dubrovnik
The InnoAquaTech partners look forward to seeing you at the events!
